The coronavirus of the president of the United States, Donald Trump, and his wife, the first lady Melania Trump, has been identified.
Trump himself pointed this out in a tweet on Friday.
“Tonight Melania and I tested positive for Corona,” Trump tweeted. We will start the quarantine and recovery process soon. Together we will go through the current situation.
Earlier, in another tweet, Trump said his top colleague Hope Hicks had been identified as Corona and was going into quarantine with his wife Melania.
In a tweet yesterday, Trump said: “Hope Hicks, who worked hard with no short breaks, has been identified as Corona Positive.” The First Lady and I are awaiting our results. In the meantime, we will begin our quarantine process.

Hope also travels regularly with President Trump, along with other senior associates, Reuters reports. Among them was a campaign in Minnesota last Wednesday and a presidential debate in Ohio on Tuesday that was with Trump.
