Narail: The portrait of former President of India Pranab Mukherjee has been honored at the home of Mama’s father-in-law in Narail.
A day of state mourning for the death of Pranab Mukherjee is celebrated in Bangladesh on Wednesday (September 2).
As part of this, a midday mourning program was organized at the mamabari of Shuvra Mukherjee, wife of Pranab Mukherjee, son-in-law of Narail, in Tularampur in Narail Sadar. 
Narail Deputy Commissioner Anjuman Ara was present as the main guest.
Also present at the time were Police Superintendent Mohammad Jasimuddin, Shuvra Mukherjee’s cousin Kartik Ghosh, brother Rupa Ghosh’s daughter and son-in-law Ayon Das. The administration and everyone in the house paid tribute to Pranab Mukherjee with a wreath on his portrait. Then the deputy commissioner and the police superintendent signed a mourning book. 
Shuvra Mukherjee’s cousin Kartik Ghosh said that after 16 days, the kirtan will be performed in the Hindu tradition with garlands, food and clothing for the tranquility of Pranab Mukherjee.
According to Shuvra Mukherjee’s mamabari sources, Shuvra Mukherjee used to study in this house.
