The platform of left-wing student organizations ‘Bangladesh Against Rape’ has called a demonstration in Shahbagh, the capital, to protest rape and violence against women in different parts of the country. The program will take place at 3 pm in Shahbag.

The new platform of Chhatra Odhikar Parishad, an organization led by Daksh Vice President Nurul Haque Noor, ‘Forum of Students and Individuals Against Rape and Oppression’ has also called an anti-rape demonstration at the same location at 4pm. .

Both organizations called on people from all walks of life to come together to make the rally a success.

Shahbagh’s shift was also tumultuous on Thursday, the fourth day of ongoing protests against rape. Students have been protesting in front of the National Museum in Shahbag since 11:30 pm.

These rallies and mass demonstrations were held under the slogan “Bangladesh Against Rape and Injustice”. Leaders and students from various left-wing organizations, including the student union and the Socialist Student Front, participated in the mass demonstration.

The protesters chanted slogans at the time. In addition to the slogans, the protesters painted the protesters. An anti-rape procession was held at 6 pm at the end of the mass rally. It starts at Shahbagh Junction, goes around Kantaban, Elephant Road and TSC and ends in front of the National Museum. Furthermore, an organization called ‘Muktijoddha Oikya Mancha’ has also organized a human chain against rape in Shahbag.

At the feet of the invincible Bengal of the University of Dhaka on Thursday afternoon, the human chain of protest of the Association of Professors of the University of Dhaka demanded a speedy trial and exemplary punishment for violence, rape and torture against women.
