Foreign Minister. AK Abdul Momen said: “We are a bit optimistic about one of the fugitive killers from Bangabandhu whom we have identified.” It is still in the law. The government has taken the necessary measures in this regard. We believe that we will be able to bring another killer from Bangabandhu to justice in the year of Mujib.
He said this in response to several questions from journalists after paying tribute at the tomb of the Father of the Bangabandhu Nation Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in Tungipara on Saturday noon.
He added that the government has come a long way to address the problem of another Bangabandhu killer fleeing to Canada. However, the exact whereabouts of the other three are not yet known. We have written letters to all the missions, we have spoken with them. So we can identify the fugitive killers.
Previously, he laid a wreath at the tomb of the father of the Bangabandhu nation Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and paid profound homage to him. Later, he participated in Fateha’s lessons and a special munajat seeking forgiveness for the souls of Bangabandhu and his murdered family members. Party leaders were present at the time.
