Throwing eggs at Fakhrul’s house, 13 leaders and activists expelled

Thirteen BNP leaders and activists from the Dhaka Metropolitan North have been suspended in connection with the attack on the home of BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir.

The information was given in a press release signed by the secretary of Mahanagar Uttar BNP’s office, ABM Abdur Razzak, on Monday afternoon.

The expelled leaders are Vice President Ful Islam Dakshin Khan Thana BNP, members of the same Thana Nazim Uddin Dewan and Amjad Hossain. Also present are Aman Ullah, District 50 General Secretary of Dakshin Khan Police Station and Mokhlech, Organization Secretary.

The leaders expelled from Uttara East Police Station are BNP MA Deputy Secretary Hannan Milon, Taizul Islam Organization Secretary Matiur Rahman Moti, Office Secretary Habibur Rahman, Expatriate Welfare Secretary Abdul Quader Swapan, Secretary for Labor Affairs Harun Aur Rashid and BNP members of Uttar Khan Thana. Nur Mohammad.

According to the notification, they were suspended from all posts, including the main members of the BNP of Dhaka Metropolitan North, in accordance with article 5 (c) of the constitution for violating party discipline. This decision will take effect immediately.

On the afternoon of October 10, more than a hundred leaders and activists held a protest in front of the Uttara residence of Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir in the capital.

It is known that this incident took place due to the announcement of the BNP candidate in the by-elections of the Dhaka-17 constituency. The protest was held demanding the cancellation of the nomination of HM Jahangir.

At one point, some leaders and activists threw bricks and eggs at the home of the BNP secretary general. The glass of several windows in the house was broken.
