Three workers died after falling from a building under construction in Dhanmondi

Dhaka: Three workers died after falling from a multi-story building under construction next to the Ahsania Mission behind Dhanmondi-32.

One of the dead is identified as Shariful, 25.

Although the names and addresses of the others could not be ascertained, police confirmed that all three worked in the building as construction workers.

The accident happened on Monday (September 26) around 11:30 a.m., the Dhanmondi (OC) police station said. Ikram Ali.

The OC also said that three workers were standing on the hanging platform in the morning and working on the 10th floor of the privately owned multi-story building. When the platform collapsed, the three of them fell. A worker named Shariful (25) died on the spot. The other two were injured. Two of the injured were rescued and taken to hospital, where they also died.
