Three more uteri were introduced in the capital

Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) has added three more tools since Sunday to ease traffic congestion in the capital.

In front of BG Press in Tejgaon, the Nabisco or Kohinoor chemical junction and the Banani Chairman Bari area were opened to three U-turn vehicles for DNCC authorities. Anisul Haque, the late former mayor of Dhaka North, took the initiative to build the womb to ease traffic congestion in the capital.

These U-turns have been built in 11 U-turn construction projects from Tejgaon Satara to Uttara House Building. Of these, 6 have been launched so far. Previously, the Uttara Uttara RAB-1 office and Uttara Jasim Uddin junction were opened in front of Kawla.

At the beginning of the project, there were plans to build a total of 11 U-turns, but the U-turn adjacent to the Army Golf Club was canceled.

Construction work is underway on the remaining four uteri. These are in front of the Mohakhali Interdistrict Bus Terminal, under the Mohakhali Overpass, under the Banani-Kakli Train Station, and under the Banani Overpass.

Initially, the cost of the project was Tk 24.63 crore. Later, with the amendment, it increased to 31 crore 70 lakh 96 lakhs.
