The educational institution’s ongoing license has been extended until November 14. However, it is under review whether the limited number of educational institutions can be opened in accordance with health rules, the Minister of Education said. Dipu Moni. He said this at a virtual press conference on Thursday.

“After the next two weeks, we will try to see if a limited number of educational institutions can be opened,” he said. But it all depends on the situation the next day. The situation in Europe, America and India is deteriorating again. There is a danger that the situation in our country will deteriorate next winter. But considering those who will take the SSC or HSC exams next year, we are thinking about what can be done with such a system to a very limited degree, so that there is no risk to health. If the situation is favorable, we will decide to open a limited number of educational institutions.

Dipu Moni said: ‘Those who were supposed to give HSC this time, but completed the entire study program and fully prepared. But next year, those who will take the SSC and HSC exams, their studies have been somewhat interrupted. I was unable to take classes for 8 to 9 months. Considering their words, even if it is limited for them, if they are given time until the scheduled exam from now on, then they can complete the study program. Although I am doing classes in various ways. Even after this, even if it’s limited, I want to bring them into the classroom and solve problems wherever they are. ”

He said: ‘A lot of people say that the habit of coming to school is disappearing. I am thinking about several issues, but the final decision must be made considering the health risks. We hope the SSC exams are not delayed. If the need arises due to the situation, we will consider the interests of the students and take their health risks seriously. But I will try to do the test in time.

Responding to a question from reporters about the exams of national universities and technical students, the minister said: “Those who are in the fourth year of the national university or in technical subjects are different. Because this is their final test, then they will enter the race. So if those exams are not assessed properly, there will be problems in your work. Therefore, it would not be correct to evaluate without an examination.

The minister said: ‘The situation is still what we think, they can be tested. Their number is not that great. Hopefully, I can do the test. I urge students to be fully prepared for the exam from now on. If the test is done after a month or two, needless to say, I couldn’t prepare.

Asked about the admission test for classes II to IX in schools, the minister said: “Considering the health risks, a method will be chosen to determine which will be the safest.”

Also present at the press conference was Deputy Minister of Education Mahibul Hasan Chowdhury, secretary of the Department of Secondary and Higher Education. Mahbub Hossain, Secretary of the Department of Technical Education and Madrasa. Aminul Islam Khan and others.

After the Ministry of Education’s press conference, the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education said yesterday in a press release that all government primary schools and kindergartens will remain closed until November 14.
