Saddam’s terrorist forces attacked and vandalized the home of an expatriate in the Joykrishnapur village of the Eklashpur union in Noakhali’s Begumganj upazila, as his wife disagreed with the proposal. The woman was later rescued by Saddam’s forces by calling 999.

On Friday afternoon, the expat’s housekeeper filed a complaint with the Begumganj Model Police Station. Earlier Thursday night, the attack took place in the Gopalpur union’s Chankashimpur village.

According to the complaint, the wife of a Kuwaiti expatriate (21), an elderly mother-in-law, lived at her husband’s home with their two children aged 6 and 5 in the Gopalpur union of Begumganj upazila. Saddam, the son of Saidul Haq from the same village and the head of Saddam’s local forces, had been making bad proposals to his expatriate wife for a long time. Saddam began to threaten the housewife in various ways, as he did not agree with this. He went to his father’s house in the Jirtali union of the same upazila under constant threat.

The housewife complained that she arrived at her husband’s house two days ago after receiving the news of her mother-in-law’s illness. On Thursday afternoon, Saddam and his men repeatedly went to his home and offered him immorality. That same night, Saddam and his men drank yaba on the roof of the building and knocked on the door of the house. When the doors did not open, Saddam and his men smashed the doors and windows of the expatriate building.

Unable to find a way out, the housewife called the police at 999 and informed the police about the incident. Begumganj police arrived at the woman’s home around 1 am. The forces of the terrorist Saddam and his men fled when they felt the presence of the police.

Begumganj OC Harunur Rashid Chowdhury model police station said the victim’s wife had filed a written complaint. Following the investigation, legal action will be taken against the accused.
