Islamic Sharia encourages the congregation to perform Eid-ul-Fitr prayers in Eidgah or outdoors. But now, considering the life risk of the faithful due to the coronavirus situation in our country, including the whole world, this year instead of Eidgah or open space, he was asked to perform Eid prayers in the nearest mosque. If necessary, more than one congregation will be held in the same mosque.
The notification also said that the rugs cannot be placed in the mosque during Eid prayers. The entire mosque should be cleaned with disinfectant before prayers. Worshipers will carry Jainamaz at their own risk.
Soap and hand sanitizer should be kept in place of ablution in the mosque to prevent coronavirus infection. Hand sanitizer, hand washing system, soap, and water should be kept at the entrance to the mosque.
Everyone should perform ablution from home and come to the mosque and wash their hands with soap for at least 20 seconds while performing ablution. The worshiper who comes to the congregation for Eid prayers must go to the mosque after wearing the mask. Jainamaz and hats reserved in the mosque cannot be worn.
Standing in Qatar while performing Eid prayers, one has to follow the rules of social hygiene and distance. One has to align the intervals. Children, the elderly, anyone who is ill and those who serve the sick cannot participate in the Eid Jamaat.
To ensure public safety, the guidelines of the health care department, local administration, and police must be followed. A request is being made to avoid hugging and shaking hands after congregation in the mosque to ensure prevention of coronavirus infection.
Khatibs and Imams are asked to offer prayers in the court of the Almighty after the holy Eid-ul-Fitr prayers to save them from the coronavirus epidemic. The Khatib, Imam and Mosque Management Committee will ensure the implementation of the problems.
In case of violation of the above instructions, the local administration and law enforcement agencies will take legal action against those responsible.
