The bodies were recovered from different points of the Agunmukha River from 8:30 am on Saturday.
The first body was recovered by the Coast Guard from Kakra Char. The police have recovered the four remaining bodies from different parts of the river.

Rangabali Police Station OC Ali Ahmed told bdnews24.com that the bodies had been found floating in different parts of the Agunmukha River since morning.
“The recovered body has been kept in the Koralia ghat launch area. The bodies will be identified and handed over to their families ”.
The OC said the body was swollen but had not been mutilated so far so that family members could easily identify the dead.
On Thursday, 12 passengers were rescued after a speedboat sank in the Agunmukha River on the way from Koralia launch ghat in Rangabali upazila to Panpatti launch ghat in Galachipa upazila due to inclement weather.
