The cloud cover in the country’s sky has increased a bit. Especially in the north and center of the country, the clouds have accumulated more. As a result, the Meteorological Department has forecast light rain or drizzle in the Rajshahi and Rangpur divisions of the northern region on Tuesday. However, when the fog cleared, the sun could be seen in most of the country, including the capital, from early today. As a result, the daytime temperature may rise slightly.
According to the Department of Meteorology, the country’s lowest temperature for a month was limited to Panchagarh, Thakurgaon and Naogaon, in the foothills of the Himalayas. But now the winter winds have swept across the country. As a result, the last three days feel colder in each area. For example, the lowest temperature in the country on Monday was 12.4 degrees Celsius in Srimangal de Moulvibazar.
The minimum temperature in the capital was 16.6 degrees Celsius.
Meteorological Department meteorologist Abdul Mannan told Prothom Alo that the cold winter wind is felt across the country. Where there are fewer clouds, there is more winter. If the clouds move in the next few days, the temperature may drop and winter may increase.
Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has predicted that the daytime temperature is increasing in many parts of the country due to the increased amount of sunshine. However, the intensity of winter has started to increase from dusk to dawn. In most of the country, the minimum temperature has dropped by two to three degrees Celsius. Within a day or two, the nighttime temperature will begin to drop rapidly.
