As a result, job opportunities have been created for Bangladeshis in Italy. This year, Italy will accept 30,650 seasonal and permanent workers from 25 countries, including Bangladesh. The application process will continue until December 31.
Meanwhile, several brokers have been reported to be taking money from workers promising to send them to Italy. The Expatriate Welfare Ministry has asked Italy to refrain from conducting financial transactions in cases where it warns those who want to leave.
The ministry’s press release on Wednesday said the Italian employer would directly nominate staff. The entire hiring process is explained in the notification. Clearly, there is no opportunity to go to Italy through any agency or broker. But some organizations are advising to send workers for Rs 12-13 lakh online, on Facebook.
The Italian employer will have to request a letter of no objection from the local manager’s office, including the name and passport number of the employee he wishes to hire, according to the statement. If a letter of no objection is issued considering the employer’s income and other issues, it will be sent to the worker in Bangladesh. The designated worker will need to apply for a visa at the embassy. If you get a visa, the worker can go to Italy. Then he and the employer have to go to the local office and sign the employment contract.
It states that when applying to go to Italy as a worker, you must pay a fee of 18 euros (one thousand six hundred rupees) set by the government. There will be an additional fee of 50 to 100 euros (five to 10 lakhs) for the help desk. Also, it has no cost. Italy will issue separate no-objection letters to eligible workers.
Italy will hire 30,650 foreign workers to keep Corona’s economy strong. Of these, 12,650 will be permanent and the remaining 18,000 will have part-time jobs. Part-time recruits must return to the country at the end of the stipulated time.
