Thursday at 8:30 p.m. Location Bhairab bus stop on the Dhaka-Sylhet highway. Police stopped a vehicle carrying a gas cylinder used as fuel. Police suspect that there is something else in the cylinder. He cut two cylinders on suspicion. After cutting, not gas, 125 bottles of Phensidyl were removed from the cylinder one by one.
The Bhairab police found this method of drug trafficking in cylinders. A man named Rubel Mia (25) was arrested in the incident. Rubel is the son of Momin Miah from the village of Kadurail in Vijaynagar upazila of Brahmanbaria.
Police said they had information that a shipment from Phensidyl was being brought to Dhaka from Vijayanagar. A van that is used as a vehicle. Police began searching the vehicle in the area of the Bhairab bus stop on the Dhaka-Sylhet highway from 7 am. At that time eight cylinders were carried in a van. During a search of the car, police discovered that two of the eight cylinders were too heavy. Based on this suspicion, two cylinders were cut in the workshop and phencidyl was found. The driver of the car was none other than Rubel.
