The new curriculum will no longer have science, humanities and business education departments at the secondary level, that is, in the ninth and tenth classes. This division will be eliminated at the secondary level, said the Minister of Education. Dipu Moni.
The Education Minister was responding to a statement by an opposition lawmaker before Parliament passed the Bangladesh Madrassa Board of Education Bill 2020 in parliament on Thursday evening. He said that there is an integrated curriculum, which will be effective from 2022.
Education Minister Dr. Dipu Moni said: ‘Our entire curriculum is being revised. And we will release the final version very soon. But there are all kinds of students, there we are in the ninth-tenth grade, under the direction of the Honorable Prime Minister, we no longer place these science, humanities and business departments in the ninth-tenth grade. All students will finish these 10 years of school with all kinds of education.
