The person who introduced himself in this video posted on Facebook is Inspector Ahaduzzaman. He is the officer in charge of the Chandrapara police post in Sadarpur upazila. He was Officer-in-Charge (OC) of the Detective Section (DB) of the district police before taking over the police post. The person wearing handcuffs in the video is Sheikh Arafat, the organizing secretary of the Bhanga Upazila Juba League.

The leaders and activists of the Awami League have been alleging that the Bhanga police have been unjustly arresting, beating, and prosecuting Kazi Zafarullah supporters for a long time. They also held a press conference with written complaints to senior police officials in this regard.
The Faridpur Police Superintendent said about the video. Alimuzzaman said a committee was formed Tuesday night to investigate the incident. The additional superintendent of police (administration), Jamal Pasha, has been appointed chair of the committee. The other two members are the Additional Superintendent of Police (Sadar Circle) Rashedul Islam and the Additional Police Superintendent (Broken Circle) Gazi Rabiul Islam.
