A girl from a tribe has been raped by two scoundrels while visiting her girlfriend in the Feni BSCIC industrial zone. His home is in Rangamati Sadar upazila. Police arrested a tavern clerk and a rickshaw puller in the incident.
Sources said the 16-year-old girl went to visit her friend Nandini from her sister’s house in Chittagong on Sunday night. At around 11 p.m., Mahipal got off the bus and got into the rickshaw. Rickshaw shooter Md. Riyadh turned her around and raped her with a tree in front of a decoration shop adjacent to Dewanganj Mukta Bari in the city around 2 pm. The rickshaw driver dropped him off in the Kathbella area near the Saladin junction.
Chhotan Sheel, an employee of a Feni General Hospital tavern, took her home in a sewer on the road to Fatehpur near Dewanganj around 3:30 pm. After being raped there, BSCIC hit the road.
Patrolling ASI Firoz Ahmed interrogated them when the movement was suspected. At one point, when the victim informed him about the rape incident, he arrested Chhotan Shil and took him to the police station. The rickshaw shooter was also arrested for the information the teenager gave him.
Chhotan is the son of Sameer Sheel from the Dharmapur area of the Sitakunda Police Station in Chittagong and works in a tavern on Hazari Road in the city. The rickshaw shooter is the son of Md. Sadeq from the Kamalnagar Police Station in Riyadh Laxmipur.
Feni Model ASI Firoz Police Station said that according to information provided by the victim, no girlfriend named Nandini was found working at the Abul Khair match factory.
Feni Model Police Station OC (Operations) Adil Mahmud said that a case has been filed at the Feni Model Police Station in accordance with the Law on Prevention of Abuse of Women and Children. Two people involved have been arrested. The girl was examined at the Feni General Hospital.
Feni Model OC Md Alamgir Hossain Police Station confirmed the arrest of two people involved in the incident.
