UAE Foreign Minister Anwar Gargash has said that Turkish military bases in Qatar have created instability in the Middle East.

Commenting on Turkey’s military presence in the Persian Gulf as a state of emergency, Anwar Gargash said that Turkey has intensified its polarization and has not taken into account the independence, sovereignty and interests of the peoples of the region.
Several countries, including Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait and Egypt, cut diplomatic relations with Qatar on June 5, 2016, accusing them of supporting terrorism.
Two days after the crisis began, the Turkish parliament decided to deploy troops to its military bases in Qatar. Their military ties are further strengthened.
One of the 13 demands of the blockaded countries was the withdrawal of the Turkish military bases from Qatar. But Qatar did not follow that path.
On June 17, 2015, Turkish troops took position for the first time at the Tariq Ibn Ziad military base. This increased the military power of Qatar.
The leaders of both countries expressed the hope that peace and stability will be maintained in the region through the repression of terrorism.
