Meteorologist Ruhul Quddus told the media that a moderate cold snap was hitting several districts in the central part of the country. These districts include Tangail, Faridpur, Srimangal, Jessore, Kushtia, Barisal, Bhola, Rangpur, Rajshahi, and various districts of the Mymensingh division. Temperatures in these districts fluctuate between eight and nine.
According to the 24-hour weather forecast, the weather will be mostly dry across the country with partly cloudy skies. Moderate to heavy fog can fall somewhere in the country’s river basin from midnight to morning. In other parts of the country, light to moderate fog may fall.
By the way, the lowest temperature recorded in Bangladesh was on January 8, 2016 at Tentulia in Panchagarh, the northernmost part of the country. Tentulia registered 2.6 degrees Celsius that day.
