The strongest cyclone in the world is heading towards the Philippines. It could hit the island of Luzon in the south of the country.
Hundreds of thousands of people were ordered to evacuate on Saturday to avoid potential damage from Category 5 cyclone Gani.
According to a report by the Ranters news agency, the landslide could occur on Sunday due to Cyclone Gani at a speed of 215 km per hour.
This is the strongest cyclone since Haiyan in 2013. Six thousand three hundred people died at that time.
People are being evacuated from coastal and landslide-prone areas. Earlier in the week, Cyclone Molav killed 22 people. Most were residents of the southern province of Manila. Experts believe that Cyclone Gani could move in the same direction. Source: Reuters
