Jamalpur-2 MP Faridul Haque Khan Dulal will be the state religion minister. He is scheduled to take the oath in Bangabhaban on Tuesday night (November 24).

Several sources from the cabinet division and the ministry of religion confirmed the matter to Jugantar.

When asked about this, a senior official at the Ministry of Religion, who did not want to be named, told Jugantar on Monday night: “We have also heard the matter verbally. However, no official instructions have been issued yet.

Islampur Upazila Nirbahi (UN) official from Jamalpur, SM Mazharul Islam, told Jugantar: “I also heard the news.” There is great joy among the people of the area.

Many leaders and activists from the Ministry of Religion and the Awami League are already posting greetings for Faridul Haque Khan Dulal on social media.

Faridul Haque Khan Dulal is an elected member of the Ninth, Tenth and Eleventh Jatiya Sangsad from Jamalpur-2 (Islampur) constituency on the nomination of the Bangladesh Awami League. He is the president of the Islampur Upazila Awami League.

The last cabinet enlargement was on July 13 of last year. The leader of the Awami League, Fazilatun Nesa Indira, was sworn in as Minister of State that day. The Minister of State, Imran Ahmed, was promoted to Minister. Since then, no new members have been added to the cabinet. There was no change.

After an outright victory in the Eleventh Parliamentary Election, the Awami League formed the government for the third consecutive term on January 8 of last year.

On that day, the 47-member cabinet headed by Awami League president and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina started with 24 ministers, 19 state ministers and three deputy ministers. There are currently 46 cabinet members.
