They also said that Tauhidur Rahman Bachchu was an active member of Chhatra Dal. When the BNP government was in power, it used to give speeches and slogans against the Awami League at various public meetings. Even after the Awami League government came to power, Bachchu was never found at the meeting of the procession. Salanga Thana formed a friendship with BCL leaders and workers prior to the BCL conference. In a limited time, the position of Vice President of the Thana Chhatra League was announced and the full committee of the Chhatra League was announced. Shortly after assuming the position of Vice President of the Thana Chhatra League, this boy was turned into a palm tree. Bachchu was a member of Chhatra Dal, but the leaders and activists did not listen to him.
Furthermore, he claimed that the late Fazlar Rahman from Bhattamajhuria Village of the Bachchu Nana Police Station was a Razakar and a member of the peace committee. His uncles are involved in current Jamaat politics. His cousin Mehedi Hasan has been General Secretary of Ramkrishnapur Union Chhatra Dal. There are several cases of sabotage in his name at the Salanga police station.
His father Nur Mohammad has been alleged to have been the president of Jamaat when the president of the Tauhidur Bachchu Thana Chhatra League recently announced his candidacy.
If a Chhatra Dal activist like Bachchu unethically snatches the post of chairman of the Thana Chhatra League from leaders and workers, there will be contradictions and unrest among all the Thana Awami families. And the apostate leaders and workers of the true Awami League will be deprived of their titles. The main leaders and activists of the Thana Chhatra League demanded that no member of Jamaat BNP should obtain the title of member of the Thana Chhatra League. If any member of BNP Jamaat-e-Islami wins the Thana Chhatra League post, leaders and activists warned of a tough move.
Salanga Thana Chhatra League presidential candidate, Tauhidur Rahman Bachchu, denied the allegations against him, saying: “At the upcoming Thana Chhatra League conference, I, a candidate for the office of president, came up with an insidious mahal to tarnish the image of me and my family. ” My family was never involved in Jamaat BNP politics. In response to a question, he said that the committee list published in my father’s name was made by them.
Riyadul Kabir Hannan, deputy general secretary of the Salanga Thana Chhatra League and vice president of the district Chhatra League, said: “Bachchu is the son of my union. When I was president of the Chhatra Union League, I did not meet Bachchu in any meeting or procession”. His family is involved in the politics of Jamaat. Bachchu himself was an active member of Chhatra Dal.
Ramkrishnapur Union Juba League general secretary Farooq Ahmed said that one of his sons in the Bachchu Jamaat family was a Razakar. His father was the emir of Jamaat, the former second ward of Nur Mohammad Union. If the son of the Jamaat family becomes the leader of the Chhatra League, the party will suffer an irreparable loss.
Alhaj Moktar Hossain Mallick, Acting President of Ramkrishnapur Union Awami League, said that Bachchu joined the current Chhatra League. I don’t know if Bachchu and his family were members of any group before.
Engineer Abdullah bin Ahmed, general secretary of the Sirajganj district Chhatra League, said: “We have received a written complaint about Bachchu.” A fair investigation is underway. The Chairman of the Central Committee of the Bangladesh Chhatra League, Al Nahyan Khan Joy, and the writer Bhattacharya, Secretary General, have indicated that there will be no place for any member of the Jamaat-BNP family in the Bangladesh Chhatra League.
Speaking with Salanga League President Thana Awami, Alhaj Raihan Gafur, he said: “I have received a written complaint. I also received a copy of the written complaint that Bachchu’s father was the president of Jamaat. He also said that organizational measures will be taken against him if proven after the investigation.
