Sarwar said: ‘I have heard four voices in total. Three out of four people were heard speaking in pure language, but one spoke in the Chittagong regional language.
Blindfolded, earphones in his ears and belts, Sarwar said he was brutally beaten.
Sarwar also said that he could hear the sound of the train leaving the room where Sarwar was.
He said: ‘Last Thursday night, Pathao was heading home on a motorcycle when he reached the front of the city’s VIP tower and was knocked unconscious from behind by some unknown people. When I regained consciousness, I saw that I was inside the minibus. ‘
He said they later detained him in a room and tortured him.
The kidnappers left Sarwar near a canal in the Kumira area of Sitakunda upazila on Sunday night. He was later rescued with the help of the locals and taken to the Chamek Hospital. He is undergoing treatment in ward 14 of the hospital.
