Exactly two minutes later, at 6:24:24, two police officers were seen carrying Raihan on their shoulders in an autorickshaw. He was later taken to the Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital.
An injunction has been filed in the High Court to request an independent and impartial investigation into Raihan’s death in police custody. Syed Fazle Elahi, a resident of the Shahparan Police Station in Sylhet and a lawyer for the Supreme Court, filed the public interest petition yesterday in the relevant section of the High Court.
Justice Md. The high court of Judge Mojibur Rahman Mia and Judge Mohi Uddin Shamim will hear the brief’s request, the lawyer said.
