The Cabinet Secretary said that in view of recent events, the Draft Ordinance 2000 on the Prevention of Violence against Women and Children (Amendment) of the Ministry of Women and Children was submitted to Cabinet for approval. Child. It was proposed to amend Section 9 (1) of the Act. To prevent violence against women and rape, this section proposes to amend the death penalty for rape or life imprisonment.
