Chhatra League President Al Nahyan Khan Joy has instructed leaders and activists to protect themselves against taunting and rape. He also alleged that the rape started by Nur Gang was spreading across the country.

He said this at a procession and rape rape at Dhaka University’s Raju Sculpture on Friday.

The president of the Chhatra League, Al Nahyan Khan Joy, presided over it. Writer Bhattacharya, BCL General Secretary, Sanjit Chandra Das, Dhaka University BCL President, Saddam Hossain, General Secretary and leaders of Dhaka Metropolitan North and South BCL addressed the demonstration.

“In the last few days, we have been protesting against the tyrant through various programs,” Joy said. Meanwhile, a student from Dhaka University has filed a case against the rapist for 16 days. But where is the brain of that violation? Has the rapist not yet been arrested? So what do we drink? Are they very powerful? Never.

Pointing to Nur-Rashed, author Bhattacharya said that they want to divert this (anti-rape) movement to a different sector, to turn it into an anti-government movement. Why do you have a problem with the government? Everyone has been arrested except for their agenda. Arrest them. Then all rapists will be scared. Is there any reason other than the moral depravity of the father who raped his daughter?

Addressing the leaders and workers, he said: “If any mother-sister is raped, abused or molested in your area, immediately build a resistance against them.” We will ensure their punishment by playing dugdugi with the skin of rapists.

Sanjit Chandra Das said that wherever there were incidents of rape across Bangladesh, the BCL had protested against Raju’s sculpture. But it is unfortunate that talented young people in Bangladesh have taken the Facebook story instead of the real one.
