When he was home alone, his uncle raped his niece for three days. The simple teenager became pregnant after being raped by her uncle and gave birth to a daughter. When various speculations began about the girl’s pregnancy, the DNA test showed that her uncle raped her.
The incident took place in the village of Hesiyara in Bangadda, Nangalkot upazila junction of Comilla. The defendant Sohail (45) is the son of Abdul Mannan from the village of Hesiara. Comilla Nangalkot Police Station Officer and Deputy Inspector (SI), Akhter Hossain, confirmed the matter. He said this after receiving the DNA test report on Saturday.
On June 13, the girl’s father filed a lawsuit against his own brother Sohail. The day after the case was closed, the police arrested Sohail and sent him to jail through court. In court, the girl blamed her uncle Sohail and gave a confessional statement in court.
The girl’s medical examination was completed at Comilla Medical College Hospital. And in late June, the teenager gave birth through Caesar. Later, mediated by the Officer-in-Charge (CO) of the Nangalkot Police Station, Bakhtiyar Uddin Chowdhury, the girl was adopted by a childless couple in Chaumuhani, Noakhali. The condition for the adoption of the child was that the child had to be fathered at any time in the interest of investigating the case, including DNA evidence. Subsequently, the DNA of the teenager’s son was analyzed.
Meanwhile, Sohail was in jail for only one month. To save the rapist’s son, Sohail’s father, Abdul Mannan, tried to drop the case by announcing that he would evict the father of his other son, the teenage victim. One of Sohail’s uncles and a cousin were involved in the incident. In this situation, her brother Sohail was released on bail, as the girl’s father was defenseless for fear of being pressured and released by his father and relatives.
After being released from jail, Sohail created panic in the area by wearing a garland of flowers around his neck and rejoicing in a motorcycle showdown. Images and videos of his motorcycle confrontation and his jubilation were disseminated on Facebook social networks. There was widespread criticism on the subject.
