Dhaka: Ghoraghat officer Upazila Nirbahi (UNO) Wahida Khanam from Dinajpur, who was seriously injured in the attack, took two and a half hours to complete the surgery. Wahida Khanam’s skull broke due to a head injury and entered the brain. It has been surgically removed.
Doctors say those who attacked UNO thought Wahid was dead.

He said eight to nine marks of injuries were seen on his head during surgery. They have been cleaned and sewn. There were also blood clots in places in the brain due to this injury. They have been cleaned.

‘UNO Waheeda Khanam’s surgery has been successful. All the members of the medical board formed by him were present during the surgery. However, he is still not safe. Professor Dr. Badrul Alam said that UNO Waheed’s surgery was completed at 11:05 pm on Thursday. After surgery, he remained in the ICU for 72 hours. The situation is a little better than before.
Earlier, he was taken to the hospital operating room for surgery around 9 pm. The CT scan is done before taking you to the operating room. Doctors decided to operate on blood pressure as it was normal.
Doctors on duty said the left side of UNO Waheed’s head was badly damaged in the attack. Parts of the head have broken down and created pressure within the brain. His surgical decision was made in the hope that his condition would improve if it were surgically removed.
