Mahbub-ul-Alam Hanif, deputy general secretary of the Awami League, questioned why Nabi Karim (peace be upon him) never took pictures. “They (misunderstandings of religion) verbally claim that Nabi Karim (PBUH) didn’t do it, he didn’t.” . Nabi Karim (sa.) You did not take pictures, why did you take them? The Prophet never got on the plane, why are you getting on? He didn’t get in the car, why are you getting in the car? Islam never said that. Islam is the best and most up-to-date religion.
He spoke as keynote guest at a discussion on ‘Liberation War Awareness and the Current Context: What to Do in the Teachers’ Society’ in the auditorium of the National Press Club on Tuesday (December 15). The meeting was organized by the Swadhinata Independent Ibtedai Madrasa Teachers’ Council.
Mahbub-ul-Alam Hanif further said, those of us who claim to be Muslims today, our Creator is Allah Pak Rabbul Alamin. So who created them in Hinduism? Who created them in Christianity? Who created them in Buddhism? They are all the creation of an Almighty God. If we think that our creation is in accordance with the Quran, who are we to speak after the creation of Allah Almighty? God has decreed that whoever follows his religion will follow it.
He further said that secularism is not allowed in Islam. I need to know the meaning of secularism. Secularism does not mean irreligion. Whoever has his religion will follow it. Are there any signs of peace in the language they (Islamic misunderstandings) speak today? Speaking of which language, can you find any of these civilizations? They are speaking as extremist terrorists.
The meeting was chaired by HM Zainul Abedin, Chairman of the Independent Council of Teachers of the Ibtedai Madrasa in Swadhinata, among others.
