The new Coronavirus snatched another important industrialist in the country. Prominent industrialist, founding president of Partex Group and former MP MA Hashem died in a hospital in the capital at 1:20 p.m. on Wednesday (Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilahi Raziun). I was 6 years old.

Relatives and supporters were worried about MA Hashem, one of the main industrialists in the country, who was on the brink of death. At 1:20 p.m., Evercare Hospital authorities said all rescue efforts had failed, and the industrialist, who had been on life support for a week, breathed his last.

MA Hashem’s son Shawkat Aziz Russell broke the news of his father’s death on social media. Shawkat Aziz wrote in his statement: ‘My father MA Hashem (6) passed away at 1:20 pm on December 24 at Evercare Hospital. Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi rajiun ‘. Shawkat Aziz prayed for his father.

MA Hashem was admitted to Evercare Hospital on December 11 after testing positive for Covid-19. When his condition deteriorated, he was taken to life support on December 16.

MA Hashem, founder of Partex Group, one of Bangladesh’s largest industrial companies, has risen to the top of the list of the country’s top traders, starting with the tobacco and consumer goods business. He was the first to set up a condensed milk factory in the country through Danish condensed milk.

Industrialist MA Hashem was elected Member of Parliament for the Noakhali constituency in Begumganj in the 2001 national elections as a candidate for the position. He announced his withdrawal from BNP policy during the army-controlled provisional government.
