The Prime Minister wants to meet the academics who have set out to build a ‘Mujib Minar’

After the meeting, Maulana Mahfuzul Haque, Befaq’s secretary general, told reporters that eminent academics from all over the country participated in the meeting. 5 proposals have been accepted based on everyone’s opinion. They will be sent to the Prime Minister in the form of a memorandum. At the same time, a delegation will take the initiative to meet with the Prime Minister.
Maulana Mahfuzul Haque said that the making of human idols or sculptures for any purpose is strictly prohibited in the eyes of Islam. Responding to a question about what alternative thinking is, Mahfuzul Haque said: “Our proposal is to build Mujib Minar with 99 names of Allah.”
