Dhaka: The price of meat has dropped during the week. In the capital, beef has been seen to be sold at Rs.500 per kg.
At the same time, Khasir meat has been seen to be sold for between 730 and 850 rupees. In other words, the price of beef has dropped by about Rs 100 per kg in one week. In these markets, the price of a dozen eggs has dropped from Rs 5 to Rs 10 a week. Every dozen red eggs are sold on the market for 115 rupees. Domestic chicken eggs are sold for Rs 160-180 less for Rs 10. Golden chicken eggs sell for Rs 140-150. And duck eggs sell for Rs 130-140 a dozen.
The fish market is unchanged during the week.
