The Chairman of the Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS), Enamul Haque Khan, and Secretary General Dilip Kumar Agarwala announced the new price on Wednesday. The new price will be effective from Thursday, they said.
According to the new price, the price of good quality gold has been set at Tk 2,333 per 22 carats and the price has been set at Tk 8,341. Which has been sold as of Wednesday at 74,006 rupees.
You have to buy heavy gold for 21 carats at 63,192 rupees. As of Wednesday, this quality gold was selling for Rs 80,859 per gram.
And 18-karat gold will cost Rs 74,444 per gram. Which was sold for Tk 82,111 on Wednesday.
Also, you have to buy heavy gold for 54,121 rupees by traditional method. This quality gold was sold on Wednesday at Rs 51,006.
However, the silver will be sold at the old price. The best quality ie 22 karat heavy silver will cost Rs 1,518.
