Before the new price went into effect, the price of 22 karat gold ornaments was 72,256 rupees, 69,109 21 karat rupees, 60,381 18 karat rupees and traditional gold was sold at 50,039 rupees.
According to a statement issued by the president of the Bangladesh Jewelers Association, the price of gold fell in two phases on August 13 and 21 amid the economic crisis caused by Corona, the weakening of the US dollar due to the trade war. between China and the United States, the fall in oil prices and other complex economic equations.
