Sugar is sold on the market for Rs 7 to Rs 80 per kg. BR-28 rice is sold at Rs 52 to Rs 54 per kg, Miniket at Rs 75, Nazir at Rs 65-6, Swarna rice at Rs 47 and Polaway rice at Rs 100. The price of a liter of open edible oil is increases from 135 to 140 rupees.

At last week’s price, a dozen red eggs are sold at Tk 90, duck eggs at Tk 160 to 185, and a dozen domestic chicken eggs at Tk 200 to 210.

Golden chicken (rooster) sells for Rs 280-290 per kg and broilers for Rs 140-150 / kg.

The prices of beef and lamb, spices and other commodities remain unchanged in these markets.

Khasi meat is sold at Rs 600-750 per kg, goat meat at Rs 600-650 per kg, beef at Rs 550 per kg, and buffalo at Rs 550-580 per kg.
