The president of Buraburi UP, Abu Taleb Sarkar, was suspended for changing the date of birth in Ulipur, Kurigram and marrying a girl from the ninth class to a child marriage. When the news of the child marriage was published in various national newspapers and online portals, including the voice of the newspaper Kale, it unleashed a storm of criticism across the country. Later, the Upazila Nirbahi officer investigated the matter and it was found to be true. According to the investigation report (December 15), he was suspended.
