Taksim A Khan said that Professor MA Rashid had been in the ventilation of the Bangladesh Specialized Hospital since July 16 after being infected with corona. His Covid-19 was negative in the last sample test. At this time his condition also improved. But on September 3 his condition worsened again. At that time he was rushed to the ICU. You have been in critical condition in the ICU for the past three or four days. He died on Thursday.
Professor Rashid lost some of his limbs due to Kovid. That’s why he died, the doctors said.
By the way, from 1975 to 2016, Professor MA Rashid was a professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at BUET. The government appointed him chairman of the board of WASA in September last year.
