Rakibul Islam, 20, a crown-infected policeman, escaped from the Rajarbagh Police Lines Hospital in Ullapara de Sirajganj and returned to his people’s home.
The incident occurred on Thursday morning. Later, the policeman’s uncle took him to the Ullapara Upazila Health Center around 1 pm on Friday.
Rakibul is a member of the Rajarbagh Police Lines Armed Police Battalion (APBN) and the son of Muktar Hesen from the village of Jagjivanpur under the Salanga police station in Ullapara upazila district.
Ullapara Upazila family health and wellness officer Anwar Hossain said Rakibul Islam from Rajarbagh Police Lines in Dhaka was receiving treatment at a police hospital after Corona attacked him.
He escaped from the hospital on Thursday morning and went to his town’s house, his uncle brought him with him and admitted him to the Upazila Health Center around 1 pm on Friday.
He then informed Rajarbagh APBN headquarters about the matter. They have kept him isolated ever since. Currently, the patient’s condition is normal, he said.
