Rezaul Karim Bablu, aka Shawkat Ali Golbagi, a well-known MP in the Bogra-6 constituency, has posted a photo of himself holding a gun on Facebook. As the film went viral, various discussions and criticisms began throughout the district.
MP Bablu has claimed that people from different professions, including journalists, are hostile to him. So I bought firearms for safety. The photograph was taken by his colleagues while he was shopping for it in a store in Dhaka. And the photo has been posted on someone else’s ID, not yours.
The BNP candidate, Morshed Milton, is known to have failed to be elected in the Bogra-6 constituency (Gabtali-Shajahanpur) in the 11 parliamentary elections held in December 2016. The ruling party handed over the seat to the Jatiya Party. If Ferdous Ara Khan, wife of the late former Awami League leader Azam Khan, is an independent candidate, Awami League leaders and activists support her.
In addition, Rezaul Karim Bablu was an independent candidate with the symbol of the truck brand. As the voters of BNP and Jamaat supported Bablu, he defeated the JPA candidate by a large margin and became a deputy. He got 1 lakh 90,299 votes. After being elected, an affidavit was filed against him alleging concealment of information about the case. Despite writing about it, no one took action against him.
In the election affidavit he showed an annual income of five thousand rupees. He used to ride an old motorcycle. He bought a car for 34 lakh rupees in two months. Later, MP Bablu claimed that the car was gifted by his friends. However, there was a campaign in the area, the owners of the local illegally built brick kiln bought the car from MP to protect their kiln.
Meanwhile, over the past few days, a photo of MP Rezaul Karim Bablu aka Shawkat Ali Golbagi with a gun in his hand was found on his Facebook ID. After seeing the photo, there was a negative reaction among the people. Many people made various comments on Facebook about this. MP Bablu detected and removed the image from Facebook. As a result, the movie has not been seen since Friday.
In this regard, the Additional Superintendent of Police (Media) of Bogra Sadar Circle Sanatan Chakraborty said that there is a clear mention in the condition of issuing the firearms license that weapons cannot be unnecessarily displayed. Mr. MP applied for a firearms license a long time ago. The police have been authorized in this regard.
Bogra prosecutor Abdul Matin said the firearms could not be displayed without a reason. Taking photographs with firearms is a violation of the license granted through social media.

People of different professions, including journalists, are hostile to him. During the coronation period, the journalists received fruits and hundreds of thousands of rupees. Even then, high-level journalists were against him.
He said the government has yet to provide bodyguards. So he bought a pistol from a shop in Dhaka for 75,000 rupees for safety. There were 15/20 people with him at the time of purchase. One of them took a photo with a gun and shared it on Facebook.
Regarding the fact that the photo was seen on his Facebook ID, he said that the photo was not on his ID.
