There is great joy in Narail when teenager Sadat Rahman has won the International Children’s Peace Prize. People of different classes and professions in Narail are happy and proud to receive this Nobel Prize for Sadat Children. Sadat won the award for creating an app to protect children from cybercrime.

Sadat, a 17-year-old Narail City College student, is a class XII student. Sadat Rahman received the award on Friday (November 13) at a ceremony in the Netherlands.

According to sources, Sadat Rahman has created a mobile application where children, adolescents and victims of cyberbullying can report online and ensure their own safety. With this app, teens can learn to stay safe in the world of the Internet. Sadat’s app has already become popular. In Narail alone, 1,600 people are using the app.

 Shafiqul Islam, campaign manager for cyber teens, said Sadat started making the app after hearing that a 15-year-old schoolgirl had decided to commit suicide after being ignored.

Moniruzzaman Mallick referred to Sadat Rahman as the star of Narail and Bangladesh and said that Sadat Rahman’s contribution to protecting children and adolescents from cybercrime will always be remembered. Sadat has illuminated the faces of the Narail people in Bangladesh and around the world.

By creating a mobile application, Sadat has enabled Narail and Bangladesh to stand firm in the world court.” He commented that his contribution will help children and adolescents to develop as citizens with human values.
