The Minister of State for Primary and Mass Education, Mohammad, has criticized the news spread in the media about the proposal to train officials abroad to give khichuri to children as cooked food. Zakir Hossain.
He told a press conference at the secretariat on Wednesday, “Some pro-BNP-Jamaat people have come into journalism. I have seen the Chhatra Dal and Juba Dal activists in my area now doing journalism and they are putting the government in a situation embarrassing by giving them various negative news. This is also a problem.
“There is no need to shout about the proposed training of officials abroad to see how elementary students cook khichuri handling for the noon meal,” he said.
The minister of state said: “I myself went to Kerala, India, to see the management of cooked food for schoolchildren. You have to have experience in any subject. If you work with experience, you will get good results. Journalists also follow the advice of older people when it comes to their profession. It was recommended to seek a similar experience here. But that’s not the end, just a proposal.
“Now the reason why we proposed to the officers to go abroad is to mention 500 people, but now it was suggested to send two teams,” he said. There may be 20 or 30 people, but there may be 14 out of every seven, ”he said.
