The newborn who survived the burial died

The surviving newborn died during burial. Bachcha Mia, in charge of the police post at Dhaka Medical College Hospital, confirmed the matter on Wednesday night (October 21).

He said the baby, Mary, who survived the burial, died around 11:40 p.m. For the past five days she has been in the hospital’s neonatal unit.

Previously, her husband Yasin Mollah admitted his wife Shahinur to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMC) nine days ago. Shahinur, who was admitted to room 110, gave birth to a girl in the early hours of Friday (October 18). However, the doctors declared the newborn dead shortly after birth.

According to the death certificate, the doctor said the newborn was stillborn. Later, the newborn was packed in a package and taken to the Azimpur cemetery for his father Yasin to bury. When the people from the cemetery demanded Rs 1,400 for the burial shroud, they took the newborn to the Basila cemetery because they had no money. Going there, the newborn suddenly moved. He quickly brought him back to Dhamme.
