Former Companiganj Upazila chairman Mizanur Rahman Badal said Muzakki was his supporter. Quader Mirza was shot dead by terrorists on his mobile phone because he liked it. He demanded justice for the murderers.
Companiganj Police Station OC Mir Zahidul Haque Rony said his father would come and present a case after Muzakkir was buried.
Meanwhile, journalists from different upazilas, including the Noakhali Press Club, organized human chains and demonstrations yesterday in protest of Muzakki’s murder and demanded the immediate arrest and trial of the murderers.
Student Rights Council Rally
The Noakhali district branch of the Student Rights Council and the Youth Rights Council held a demonstration in front of the Noakhali Press Club in the afternoon to protest and demand justice for Muzakki’s murder. They found those involved in the murders and demanded exemplary justice. Representatives of journalists working in the district expressed their solidarity and spoke at the rally.
