Sams Ara Jahan, an officer with BCS’s 27th General Education Cadre Group, died four months ago. But last Thursday he was transferred to the post of assistant professor (botany) at Sadarpur Government College, Faridpur. The transfer of the deceased teacher has caused a great surprise among the educational staff.

Sams Ara Jahan was an assistant professor (botany) at the Eden Government Women’s College in the capital. While working there, he was diagnosed with cancer. Later he was assigned to the Department of Secondary and Higher Education (Maushi). Mausi died on May 12 of this year while he was still linked to the CSO.

Four months after his death, the Ministry of Education transferred Sams Ara Jahan on Thursday to the position of assistant professor (botany) at Sadarpur Government College, Faridpur. The order was issued under the signature of Undersecretary Farhad Hossain of the Government College-1 branch.
