The investigation committee formed by the Ministry of the Interior has not met with the dismissed OC from Teknaf Police Station Pradeep Kumar Das for almost a month. Said retired army officer Sinha. The report of the committee formed by the Interior Ministry to investigate the Rashed Khan murder case is also not being presented this month.

The investigation of this murder case is almost complete. The high-level investigation committee formed by the Interior Ministry was due to present its report on August 23, but the time was extended because OC Pradeep was not interviewed.

The deadline for submitting the report was extended by one week until August 31. Pradeep is now in custody for four days in the third phase with the RAB, the investigating agency in the case. This refund will end on September 1.

According to reliable sources in the investigation committee, a high-level investigation committee formed by the Interior Ministry is waiting to speak with Pradeep Kumar Das, one of the defendants in the murder of retired Major Sinha.

According to sources close to the investigation, the committee has enlisted the names of six people in different categories to investigate Sinha’s murder. The committee has already completed the interviews of 8 people. Only OC Pradeep remains, but he was also scheduled to be interviewed on August 19.

The investigation committee was to present its report to the Ministry of the Interior on August 23 after the interview. But that did not happen as the officer investigating the case against OC Pradeep took Pradeep into his custody for a 7-day pre-trial detention.

Subsequently, the deadline for submitting the investigation report was extended until August 31.

Chittagong Additional Division Commissioner Mohammad Mizanur Rahman, who heads the investigation committee, told reporters that the investigation was in an almost final stage. Only one defendant waits to speak to OC Pradeep.

According to Mizanur Rahman, we ask the court to meet with Pradeep Kumar Das any day in late August this year (August 29-30), but the RAB will not meet with him (Pradeep) as he has been detained for the third time. The committee will now write a letter to the Interior Ministry on Sunday to extend the deadline for the submission of the investigation report.
