Interesting discussions have begun in the area about his candidacy for mayor. However, in the context of running for independent mayor, he said his childhood wish was fulfilled.
Jubayer Hossain, general secretary of the Tanore Upazila Juba League, said that Saidur Rahman, who grew up under the umbrella of League president Tanore Upazila Awami and current mayor Golam Rabbani, was also a goalkeeper of the Tokai market in his career. With the approval of Mayor Rabbani, he took his place as Organizing Secretary of the Awami Municipal League of Mundmala. Meanwhile, the only candidate for mayor of BNP is Feroz Kabir. He is a member of the convening committee of Tanore Upazila BNP. The withdrawal of the candidacy is scheduled for January 11 and the vote is scheduled for January 30.
Bagmara Upazila Elections Officer Golam Mostafa said that Kamal Hossain, the mayoral candidate of Bhabaniganj Municipality, has submitted the nomination papers along with the correct evidence, which needs the support of as many voters as an independent candidate. On the mayoral candidates of Saidur Rahman and Kamal Hossain, Ahmed Safiuddin, district president of Citizen for Good Governance (Sujan) Rajshahi, said that if the voters want to, they can definitely run for mayor. There is nothing to argue or criticize about this.
It should be noted that the voting date for the Bhabaniganj Township elections is January 18. On December 15, Kamal Hossain resigned from the position of night watchman.
