The murder mystery of 8-year-old Asif Khan in Ashulia de Savar has been revealed. 19 days after the murder, after the arrest of the main murderer, all the shocking information has come out. And the killer himself gave this information.
The murderer and his accomplice made a confessional statement in court on Friday (October 30) afternoon. Anna Karmakar, 32, son of Nitai Karmakar from the Gurudashpur Police Station in Natore District and her brother-in-law Nepal Karmakar, 14, son of Gabinda Karmakar from the Sadar Police Station in Tangail District.
Dhaka North Detective Police Deputy Inspector Ashraful Alam told the media that Asif Khan has been missing since the afternoon of October 11. Subsequently, the girl’s father presented a general diary at the Ashulia police station. Two days later, on October 13, Asif’s frozen body was found in an alley next to his home.
Regarding the revelation of the mystery, said Asif Khan, a second-class student from a local school. She lived with her parents at their home in the Purbakalta Suti area of Ashulia in Savar. Asif often fought with her 13-year-old son-in-law, the brother-in-law of Anna Karmakar, the tenant of their house. On the afternoon of October 11, Nepal took Asif to his room instead of giving him a mechanical motor. Nepal told Asif with the engine that he would not fight me again. But when Asif got nervous, Nepal first suffocated him and killed him by strangling him. Later, the body was hidden in a drawer in the back of the closet.
He added that after Asif disappeared that night, locals and Nepal started looking for him. The following day (October 12), Asif’s body was packed up and thrown into the alley of the house after Nepal reportedly abandoned it after killing her sister’s husband, Anna Karmakar, at night. Police recovered the body on October 13.
“Many of us were suspicious, but Nepal went home the day after the murder. He was repeatedly asked to come from his house, but he did not come. When the level of suspicion increased a bit, it was brought to Ashulia by various techniques. He later admitted to the murder.
Aswadur Rahman, the investigating officer for the murder case, said: “We have been able to unravel the mystery after 19 days of trying.” In this case, six defendants were arrested. They will be exempt from the case through the process.
