A man named Dharmendra Anija, a resident of Rajasthan, bought three acres of land on the moon from his wife Swapna Anija.
Dharmendra Anija told the ANI news agency that he wanted to do something special for his wife on their eighth wedding anniversary, so he bought land on the moon.
Dharmendra said, the 24th was my wedding anniversary. I wanted to do something special for him. Everyone gives worldly gifts like cars, jewelry, but I wanted to give something different. So I bought him land on the moon.
According to Indian media reports, Dharmendra bought three acres of land on the moon from Luna Society International in the United States.
Dharmendra said the entire process took a year to complete.
“I am very happy because I am the first person from Rajasthan to buy land on that moon,” he added.
