The card distribution ceremony opened at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in the capital on Sunday. The Minister of Health and Family Welfare, Zahid Malek, who was the main guest of the event, said that the Individual Health Identification Card is an excellent and innovative initiative for the people of the country. These health ID cards are all the rage in many countries in the developed world. The distribution of this card also opened another milestone in healthcare in Bangladesh.
