Police have recovered the body of a patient named Swapan Rahman (22) from Kabiraj’s home in Durgapur upazila of Rajshahi. He went to Kabiraj’s home last Tuesday for treatment. The incident took place in the Bajukhalashi village in the Hatkanpara area of ​​upazila on Wednesday afternoon.

Swapan is the son of Shafiqul Islam of Dasgram in Baraigram upazila of Natore. Kabiraj Nasir Uddin and his family have been at large since the incident.

Police say they learned that Swapan went to Nasir’s home in Hatkanpara village in Durgapur upazila of Bajukhalashi last Tuesday for treatment. Swapan was found hanging in a room in the house around 3 p.m. Wednesday. Later, when the local president of the Parishad Union (UP), Shamser Ali, was reported on the incident, he informed the police.

Durgapur Police Officer in Charge Khurshid Banu said police recovered the body hanging from Swapan overnight and sent it to the Rajshahi Medical College morgue for an autopsy. Initially, it is believed that he committed suicide. However, the actual facts will be known after receiving the autopsy report. In this incident a case of unnatural death has been registered.
